Our Privacy Policy has been developed in line with privacy principles that prioritize user trust, fairness, and transparency. We are committed to going beyond industry norms to ensure that Sewjo remains a safe and respectful space for creativity, connection, and inspiration.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information, ensuring that you can confidently enjoy and engage with the Sewjo platform.
1. What Information We Collect
Sewjo collects data in the following ways:
Directly from users when they sign up, create a profile, upload content, or adjust settings.
Camera & Photo Access
To help users visually organize their stash, Sewjo allows access to the device’s camera and photo library. This access is used solely for uploading images of fabrics, patterns, or sewing supplies to enhance stash organization and enable features like visual matching and project tracking. Images are only uploaded when the user chooses to do so, and Sewjo does not access or use camera or photo content without user initiation.
Automatically through app interactions, such as tracking feature usage, IP addresses, and device information.
From third-party services that users connect with, such as e-commerce platforms, analytics providers, AI tools, and other integrations necessary to enhance app functionality.
Personal Information: Name, email, profile details, uploaded content (including images, comments, messages, and other user-submitted materials), and purchase-related data if provided by the user or obtained through third-party integrations like Shopify.
Usage Data: Actions taken within the app (e.g., adding stash items, interactions with AI features).
Transaction Data: If integrated with Shopify or other third-party e-commerce platforms, Sewjo may receive purchase-related data as needed to support features like stash organization and user experience enhancements.
